Use Setup Wizard to Edit an Existing Budget Template

How to Use Setup Wizard to Edit an Existing Budget Template

Please Note!
Setup allows you to modify the structure or outline of an existing template.


  1. From any Module
  2. Click on "Administration" (located on the left-hand side of the screen) 
  3. Click on "Budget Templates" (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
  4. Click on the name of the Budget Template
  5. Click on "Setup" (located at the top of the page) 

Option One
  1. Select the "Fastest" option 

  2. Click "Let's Go" 

  3. Make any necessary changes
  4. Click on "Next Step" 

  5. Determine if you need to add or remove Labor
  6. Click on "Next Step" 

  7. Remove any Sections or Subsections that do NOT apply to your business by clicking on the "X" (located next to that item) 

  8. Click on "Next Step" to Remove any sections or subsections for Labor if applicable 

  9. If Labor does NOT apply to your template, Click on "Finish" 

Option Two
  1. Select the "Most Accurate" option 

  2. Click "Let's Go" 

  3. Make any necessary changes
  4. Click on "Next Step" 

  5. Determine if you need to add or remove Labor
  6. Click on "Next Step" 

  7. Remove any Sections or Subsections that do NOT apply to your business by clicking on the "X" (located next to that item) 

  8. To add a subsection, click on "Add Subsection" (located under each section) 

  9. To add a section, click on "Add Section" (located at the bottom of the page) 

  10. Click on "Next Step" to Add or Remove any sections or subsections for Labor if applicable 

  11. Click on "Next Step" 

  12. The budget wizard will display the first item in the budget for you to determine the product's details. 
  13. Use the Menu on the left-hand side of the screen and click on the first item that you added to your budget.
    1. Click on "Create my own" 
    2. Enter in the required information
    3. Click on "Next Item" 

  14. Repeat step 13 for every NEW item that you added on the budget template for both Product and Labor
  15. After all items have been customized, click on "Finish" 

Please Note!
After making changes to the Budget Templates at the Company Level you MUST replace the templates in each branch!
  1. Click on "Branches" (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
  2. Click on the "Branch Name"
  3. Click on "Budget Templates" (located towards the bottom of the page)
  4. Delete the old template by clicking on the trash can to the right of the template name 

  5. Click on the arrow and select the name of the template to add it to the branch 

    1. This process will ensure that all users have access to the new template
