Editing Rows in an Existing Budget Template

How to Edit an Existing Budget Template

Budget Template
  1. From any Module
  2. Click on "Administration" (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
  3. Click on "Budget Templates (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
  4. Click on the name of the Budget Template you wish to Edit
  5. Click on "Edit" next to the section that needs to be edited 
  6. Make the necessary changes 
    1. Category Name
    2. Item Name
    3. Tax Type
    4. Markup
    5. Good Unit Cost
    6. Good Label/Description
    7. Good Mapped Category
    8. Repeat steps E-G for Better and Best
  7. Click on "Save" 
  8. Repeat this process for each additional item that needs to be changed or edited under both Product and Labor
Please Note!
After making changes to the Budget Templates at the Company Level you MUST replace the templates in each branch!
  1. Click on "Branches" (located on the left-hand side of the screen)
  2. Click on the "Branch Name"
  3. Click on "Budget Templates" (located towards the bottom of the page)
  4. Delete the old template by clicking on the trash can to the right of the template name 
  5. Click on the arrow and select the name of the template to add it to the branch 
    1. This process will ensure that all users are using the current template
Please Note!
Default templates cannot be edited.

Please Note!
The sales price is automatically calculated by utilizing the following formula
Unit Cost X Markup = Sales Price
