Add Custom Products to a Budget Template

How to Add Custom Products to a Budget Template

Please Note!
In order to add products to your budget templates you  MUST  have previously added your Brands & Discounts into the DesignAlign program.  This will allow our Global Product Catalog to display ONLY the brands that your firm represents as well as displaying both your estimated cost and estimated retail pricing.
Budget Template
  1. Open the Budget Template to which you would like to add products 
  2. Click on the "Show Costs" 
    (located on the top of the screen) 

  3. Write down the cost pricing for each of the columns that you will add custom products to
    1. You will need to enter these prices later unless you decide to change them
  4. Click on "Add" (
    located under the column you want to add products to) 

  5. Click on the appropriate "Category"
  6. Then click on the "Subcategory"
  7. Click on "Reset"
    (located on the left-hand side of the page
    ) to remove the price filters 

  8. Filter your search by selecting a "Brand"
  9. Click on "Apply" 

  10. Click on the "Plus" sign to add a custom product to your budget category 

    1. These products will be displayed on the right-hand side of the screen
    2. To remove a product, click on the "X"
      (located to the right of the item) 

  11. You can add multiple products to each budget category
  12. Clicking on the product image will open the product details page
  13. Click on "Add"
    (located in the upper right-hand corner of the product image) 

  14. Click on the "Breadcrumb Trail" (located along the top of the page) to return to the product results page 
  15. When you are done adding products, click on "Add"
    (located on the lower right-hand corner) 

  16. Click on "Edit" 

  17. Enter in the "Unit Cost" pricing that you wrote down in Step 3
  18. Click on "Save"
